BlueRibbon's New Vehicle Donation Program A Win-Win

Jack Welch, BlueRibbon
Special Project Consultant

BlueRibbon Coalition is launching a new program that will aid both the Coalition and its membership.  Through our new Vehicle Donation Program you now have the ability to donate unwanted but usable vehicles to BlueRibbon Coalition.

This new program is a partnership between Vehicles for Charity (VFC) and BlueRibbon Coalition.  The VFC has a very comprehensive vehicle donation program which was developed and implemented to provide for prompt and professional handling of donated vehicles. BlueRibbon believes this new program will be a win-win for all concerned.

Just a simple call to VFC saves you the hassle of selling and helps the BlueRibbon Coalition accomplish its mission.  Your donated vehicle can be a car, truck, RV, camper, motorcycle, ATV, PWC, boat, or trailer.  The vehicle is conveniently picked up, sold, and the net proceeds, after expenses, support the Coalition.  This is a national program that applies to all states with the exception of Alaska and Hawaii.

For you, the process is simple.  Just call 1-866-628-2277 to speak to a VFC representative.  Be sure to tell them you are calling about the BlueRibbon Vehicle Donation Program.  The vehicle is usually picked up in 3-5 days at your convenience.  You will be asked provide a clean title if your vehicle is titled and, if not, a bill of sale may be needed.

In addition, please make sure the vehicle has no major damage.  A receipt for your donation will be sent as a follow-up in the mail which can be used for tax purposes.

That vehicle you no longer want or use is a good way you can help us accomplish our mission.  The BlueRibbon Coalition will use the financial support from the vehicle donation program to maintain, secure, and promote responsible recreational access to public lands and waters.  Our goal is to keep your public lands and waters open for recreational use, whether you recreate on a mountain bike, snowmobile, motorcycle, PWC, boat, ATVs, four-wheeler, horse, or your hiking boots.

So, if you have an unwanted but usable vehicle, please consider donating it to the BlueRibbon Coalition through the Vehicles for Charity Organization.

Just a simple phone call for you and we can put it to work for recreation.

Remember, the program accepts cars, trucks, SUVs, RVs, campers, motorcycles, ATVs, PWCs, boats and trailers.  Some restrictions apply.
