Make June 2006 your time to get out and get something done for our trails and riding areas. President Bush has proclaimed this month as OUR month. Make something happen. Show how recreation can be a positive thing instead of the tainted image that exclusionary elitist try and paint of us. Volunteer for your club or association events. Yes, spend the gas money and time to do it. It's the right thing to do. We need folks working on trails to show our support for this idea.

Speaking for Friends of the Rubicon (FOTR), we have two project weekends for June and we'll be out there working on the Rubicon Trail in force.
