FRIENDS OF THE RUBICON
WORK PARTY/PROJECT SIGN UP
Aug. 20, 2005 Rubicon Springs Area Work Weekend (and FOTR Meeting/Party) Fill this out even if you just NEED A RIDE.
This is our big work weekend for 2005. We will have an FOTR social event and meeting after the work day at Main Camp.
If you're looking for the Rubicon wedding plans, Stacie and I were not able to get it together for an August wedding on the trail. But the work weekend is still alive and well. :)
Our Expenses (camping fees) for staying at Rubicon Springs (private property and using Main Camp) are covered by generous donations from Jeepers Jamboree, Inc (Richard Mainwaring, President); and Mark A. Smith Off-Road/Jeep Jamboree, USA. A big THANKS to these great sponsors/supporters of our trail work.
If your rig is broken and you need a ride, fill out this form. I suggest most people come in from the Lake Tahoe side. It's only a couple hours in a rig over a few rocks. If you catch a ride from Loon Lake, it's a long day of lots of rocks to get to Rubicon Springs.
People catching a ride will need a sleeping bag and some grub arrangements if you ride in and spend the night. The meeting/party will be after the work day. Bug spray is also a good idea.
