Del Albright's - Products, Tech Talk & Vehicle Advice
The first thing to know about buying products or building up your rig is to BUY from folks who support keeping our trails open. It's that simple. If you want to do your part in this effort, then buy from the vendors, dealers and manufacturers who donate to raffles, belong to our recreation organizations and sponsor efforts like Friends of the Rubicon (FOTR), BlueRibbon Coalition and others.
THANK YOU to all these great outfits. |

NOTE: I have been recreating on our public lands by motor for more than 40 years. I've had dirt bikes, dune buggies, jeeps, street bikes, beach buggies, SUV's, big trucks, little trucks, many boats, and even a tote goat. I've ridden snowmobiles but never owned one. I've ridden horses but never owned one. I hunt, fish, do professional photography, and RIDE! There's not much I haven't played with; so I can give you fairly sound advice when it comes to recreational activities.
I get a lot of email about what to buy and what I recommend. So here are my recommendations for what they're worth. In most cases, when I recommend something it's not to the exclusion of some similar product. It's just that I've not used the similar product so I can't recommend it. If I write it up here, I use it; believe in it; and stand by it (to the extent of my reputation).
