Trail Sanitation Issues: Del Albright and John Stewart
Del Albright (L) and John Stewart (R) discuss trail sanitation issues at the 2004 Sierra Trek by CA4WDC. Del, a BlueRibbon Ambassador and Environmental Affairs State Coordinator for CA4WDC, and John, a Natural Resources Consultant for CA4WDC as well as Environmental Affairs Officer for United Four Wheel Drive Associations, are two well known (according to some folks) full time land use and access advocates working to keep our trails open. Trail sanitation has elevated to new heights since the closure of Spider Lake along the Rubicon Trail due to human waste issues. This historic photo of Del and John discussing key trail issues was captured by Jack Raudy. |
