High Rock Canyon gets its name from this rocky cliffs. The river flowing through the valley is a bonus.

Once in the Black Rock Desert, you will find a couple places with natural hot springs like this one.

The Black Rock Desert is about 10 miles wide and 40 miles long. The world land speed record was set here. Talk about flat!

The BLM posts signs at these hot springs to warn you of their boiling temperatures!

This "paint" was a friendly member of the Cedarville community.

Great Basin sage lines the valley inside the High Rock Canyon. It's a wonderul desert experience that I recommend to any outdoor explorer.
