RUBICON TRAIL: RESTAURANTS
If you want a place (motel or campground) to stay by the trail, in the mountains, I recommend Robb's Resort and Ice House Resort, run by Bob and Julie Siebert. Call them at (530) 293-3321. Julie will make you breakfast and dinner, and might even pack a trail lunch. Rooms at either place are great for a good night's rest before or after the trail, and reasonably priced. Two guys can share a room with a nice clean bathroom/shower, for about $30 each. Both places have a bar, and Icehouse has a pool table. You can even park your tow rig at Icehouse for a moderate fee, and Bob will keep an eye onit for you. Robb's Resort has been very supportive of FOTR efforts this past year and we highly recommend you give them a visit. |
Ice House Resort and Robb's Resort are both great places to stop on the Loon Lake side. Robbs Resort is very Rubicon Trail friendly.
