RUBICON TRAIL: Renting or Camping At Rubicon/Soda Springs

Rubicon Soda/Springs is a privately owned campground along the Rubicon River about 3/4's the way into the trail from the Loon  Lake side. It is a huge area with a full camp set up for organized events such as Jeep and Jeepers Jamboree. Camp spots can be rented in advance.

Here's a note from the Rubicon/Soda Springs Property Owners, Inc. This should help you in your planning if you're going to be in this area or want to use the Springs.

Know Before You Go
tips for getting Rubicon ready

We would like to remind everyone that there is a fee to camp in Rubicon Springs. Camping fees are (as of 6/1/12) currently $10.00 per vehicle irrespective of where you camp, for 1 night; $20.00 for two nights; and $25.00 for three nights; all prices per rig. Note these fees apply to the whole property; there is no distinction between Main Camp or Dirty Dozen, for example.

Mark Smith's secretary, Glenda Gau manages the Rubicon Soda Springs Main Camp/Dirty Dozen calendar for the landowners. If people intend to use either of those areas, please contact (Glenda) for reservations.

This way the landowners and Merlin Scott will know who's going in and there won't be any surprises for those who don't make their group reservation through us.

Thanks!
